Robert Buzecan grew up in an ethnic household, where music—especially polka—was part of everyday life. With a Polish mother and a Slovenian father, he was immersed in the traditional sounds of polka music from a young age! At eight years old, Bob took up piano and accordion, and by fifteen had formed his first polka band with his brothers! These experiences sparked a lifelong passion for music.

Bob drifted away from music as he focused on family and career, but after a 20-year hiatus from the instrument, he found a renewed interest in accordion playing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once joining CPB in May 2022, he has brought a blend of tradition, versatility, and enthusiasm to the band. When not jamming, Robert works as an actuary!
